This place is just amazing, actually it's a pretty new small house in Oasis, surrounded by growing palm trees and a nice place with terrace directly on the river. The house has everything what you need, fully equipped kitchen, water-filter and was super clean. I extended spontaneous 1 night because I liked it so much. The breakfast was delicious and there is also a good restaurant where delivery is available. The host is super friendly and take care about all your requests and doing everything to feel you welcome. Highly recommended!

Bekal Village Homestay is a great place to stay if you're looking for a peaceful getaway. It’s far from the city noise and offers a serene atmosphere with beautiful backwaters. The homestay is clean and comfortable, like a little home away from home. You'll find everything you need, including a kitchen with utensils, a gas stove, and dishes. It’s also very close to Bekal Fort. The host, Shibu, is amazing. He’s friendly, helpful, and always available to assist you. I would definitely give Bekal Homestay a 5-star rating for its location, hospitality, cleanliness, and overall environment.

Stayed there in May 24, the stay was really great . There are 2 rooms in the premise . We stayed in the family room. Room is big with 2 king size beds. Having all amenities 2 ac , crockeries, gas , masalas , and refrigerator. The host have carefully put all the things which make the stay comfortable. Even the minute thing you thing and it's present in the room . There is a grocery shop just walking distance. The stay is having private back water access one can relax and enjoy the beautiful view . From the highway it will be around 1.5 km approx. Food is easily delivered by the nearby restaurants. The menu is present in the room, which was quiet helpful.

It can be really tough to find a peaceful and serene place to stay when you're on the road. One place that truly stands out is Bekal Village Homestay. Nestled in a coconut grove by the river, it's simply breathtaking. This homestay is a wonderful choice for families or couples. We stumbled upon this gem while traveling from Mumbai to Palakkad, and the traditional Nadan breakfast was a delightful highlight. Shobhith, the host, was incredibly kind and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. It's heartwarming to see how happy the whole family is, especially the children.

Nice villa with modern facilities and we had a good overnight stay. The place is also near a calm river side with good views. Breakfast (Nei pathal) with cherupayar curry was good. Place is about 4 km from Bekal fort and beach. Last 100 m approach road is narrow but still was ok for our big car.

It was a very delightful stay. A perfect weekend get away from the city as property is surrounded by the greenery and a river, with zero traffic. The rooms were well maintained with a fully equipped kitchen. Staffs and the host were super friendly and very helpful which made our stay very comfortable.

Clean and peaceful homestay with almost all amenities. It also has a great view and the property is surrounded with coconut trees. Morning breakfast also being provided. Best for people looking for safe car parking.

We checked into Bekal Village Homestay for a short two-day stay and it was one of the best experiences we've had. Shobhith anna was our caretaker and he made us feel right at home from the very first second. He was friendly, responsive and took care of all our needs. He gave us local recommendations and also provided us with tips ahead of our trek to Ranipuram. As far as the place itself is concerned, it's amazing. The surrounding is peaceful, calm and serene and is filled with greenery. You can just sit outside and take it all in because it's so quiet. You get a mini-villa of sorts for yourself and the rooms are super clean, filled with all the amenities that have been mentioned. Additionally, you can order food from local restaurants and it will be delivered directly to your room. The locality is also perfect: It's 8-10 mins away from both the Bekal Beach and the Bekal Fort. If you're planning to visit Bekal, go for this. Has everything you can ask for.

We came by road from Bangalore and stayed from 28Sep to 2oct 2024 . The stay is exceptionally good and excellent . Host Shobhit is a gem of a person who is eager to serve you . Always helpful and reasonably resourceful . We were introduced to a local Chef Vimal who provides keralite yummy food at property . We are pure veg couple and we had good variety coming in to us every evening - food was quite sumptuous and we could never finish it . Location is great and exotic . There is back water on the back of the property and beach is just 1.6 kms away - so a super morning walk . We preferred cooking our own lunch . The kitchen is well equipped with basic utensils , a stove and cute little dining table just adjoining the kitchen area. As such people around are very warm and soft spoken so interaction has been a pleasure and that made our stay a pure treat at Bekal The places to visit include Bekal fort few beaches which are reachable in 15 to 20 mins . Over all very fulfilling visit !! Best wishes to Bekal village homestay team to remain as refreshing !!
